Venues for Hire: Sunshine Coast Regional Council The following information can be found on the Sunshine Coast Regional Council website.

Arthur Street Hall

Arthur Street Hall is located adjacent to the Caloundra pool and Caloundra tennis courts in Arthur Street, Caloundra. 

Arthur Street Hall is available to hire for “soft shoe” sporting activities only. The hall is available for casual hire or on a permanent weekly or monthly basis. Chairs and tables are not provided but these may be supplied by the hirer. The venue is the size of a basketball court (approx 28m x 15m).

Hire charges depend on the purpose of the booking. For current fees contact council's customer service centre.

A bond applies for use of the Arthur Street Community Hall. 

Beerwah Community Hall

Beerwah Community Hall is located at Peachester Road, Beerwah (opposite Woolworths)

The venue offers two small meeting rooms and a large main hall which can seat up to 350 people (theatre style).  The main hall is about 350m² with large glass doors opening onto an undercover verandah.  The venue has a commercial kitchen, cool room and bar facilities, crockery and cutlery, tables and chairs and a stage. Bicentennial Community Centre

The Bicentennial Community Centre is located on Bicentennial Drive, Sunshine Beach

Two spaces are available for hire:  The Main Hall has a spacious 336 square metre parquetry floor, stage, tiled foyer and kitchen and seats up to 350 people in a theatre-style configuration.  The Annexe Hall has a timber floor and kitchenette and seats up to 150 people in a theatre-style configuration.  The venue provides a kitchen, tables & chairs, wheel chair access. 

Coolum Community Centre

Kawana Community Hall

Kawana Community Hall caters primarily for community groups. Located on Nanyima Street, Buddina, adjacent to the Kawana Library.  The venue caters for community groups, concerts, dance classes, trade displays, meetings, weddings and parties.  Two spaces are available for hire: The main area seats up to 350 people. It features a spacious stage with room for up to 100 people, piano and audio equipment.  The upstairs meeting room caters for 30 people. Landsborough Recreation Centre

The Landsborough Recreation Centre is a multi-functional venue located on Tunnel Ridge Road in Landsborough.  Home to local sporting groups, the centre also doubles as a venue for local community meetings, functions and various recreational activities.  The Landsborough Recreation Centre's function area can seat up to 100 guests around tables or fits up to 200 guests in a theatre-style seating configuration.  Facilities include kitchen, tables & chairs and wheel chair access.  For current fees contact Caloundra Indoor Stadium (07) 5499 6000. .

 

Nambour Civic Centre

Visit the Nambour Civic Centre website for information on hiring this venue, which is located on Currie Street, Nambour.  Seats up to 500 people. 

Nambour Music Room

The Nambour music room is an ideal venue for musicians looking for a sound-proof practice space. Find the music room on Currie Street, Nambour, behind the Fred Murray building.  The music room is a soundproof venue designed for young people to practice live music. It fits up to five musicians and accompanying instruments.  The room is available for hire after 5.30 pm on weekdays and at any time on the weekend.  The music room costs $5 per hour to hire and fees must be paid in advance to obtain access. Council charges a one-off bond of $20.  Bonds are refunded within two weeks of council receiving advice that the group no longer wishes to hire the room.  To make a booking, contact council's customer service centre. 

Queen Street Community Hall

Queen Street Community Hall is located on Queen Street, Caloundra, opposite Caloundra High School.  The venue can be hired for a variety of events including youth activities, functions, special events, community meetings, dance groups and church services.  Queen Street Community Hall caters for up to 250 people.  Facilities include kitchen, tables & chairs and wheel chair access. The Butter Factory Arts Centre

The Butter Factory Arts Centre is located at 10 Maple Street in Cooroy and is a multi-arts facility. It has two spaces available for presenting two and three-dimensional art exhibitions. Hanging tracks are installed in both spaces and plinths are also available.  Floor plans are available on request but it is recommended that interested artists visit the centre to view the spaces and talk to staff.  Facilities include kitchen, chairs and wheel chair access.  Contact The Butter Factory on (07) 5472 0092 to check availability or for further information.

Located on Minchinton Street, Caloundra.  Great options for weddings or corporate hire.   Can cater for very large functions.
